Mumbai Marathas began promisingly through Ronak Panoly, whose classy 73 off 51 balls anchored the innings. He struck eight fours and one six, holding the innings together despite regular wickets falling at the other end. Sandeep Singh provided early fireworks with 18 off 8 balls, while skipper Yasir contributed a handy 21. However, Athul Raveendran dented their progress by dismissing both Yasir and Sandeep.

The middle order struggled to build momentum. Mayank Choudhary fell for 1, while Lovepreet managed only 9 before falling to Aneesh Pillai. Danish Ahmad was caught behind by Vedhas for 6, and Keshav Sharma departed without scoring. Despite Panoly’s resistance, Mumbai stumbled to 137/7 by the 18th over. Late cameos from Salman Pasha (9*) and Basit Bhat (18* off 6) lifted the total to 157/7, but the target looked under-par given the pitch conditions

The Raiders’ chase was defined by controlled aggression. Skipper Hari Prasanth led from the front, smashing 35 off 21 balls with two fours and four sixes before being stumped. Alameen Sainudeen was equally destructive with 38 off 20, hammering three fours and three sixes to dismantle Mumbai’s bowling attack. Even as Shakkeer Hydru and Vedhas fell cheaply, the momentum never dipped.

The star of the innings was Vishnu Sukumaran, who remained unbeaten on 58 from 30 balls, hitting three fours and five sixes at a strike rate of 193.33. His calculated assault ensured the chase never faltered. Ashok Sudarsanan chipped in with 5, while Midhun Sudhakar’s unbeaten 16 finished the job in style. The Raiders stormed past the target in 16.3 overs, ending at 160/5, sealing a commanding victory built on aggressive intent and fearless batting.
