The match was a high-octane display of big hitting, tight spells, and electric fielding moments that kept fans glued till the final over.

The Strikers, led by Revelino Fernandes, opted to bat first and set a formidable total of 198/7. The innings was built on a solid foundation laid by Ajay Saklani’s fluent 44 off 31 balls, peppered with six boundaries and two sixes. His early fireworks gave Goa a platform, while Divjot Singh Arora’s steady 27 and Jayesh DS’s composed 32 ensured momentum was maintained. The late flourish came from skipper Revelino Fernandes, who smashed a blistering 30 from just 11 balls, and Shawn George’s rapid 21 off seven deliveries pushed the total near the 200 mark. Despite losing wickets in clusters, Goa’s strike rotation and middle-order depth ensured they reached a winning total.
For Mangalore, bowlers like Bipin Basavaraj and Praatham Mahale bowled with fire, taking two wickets each, though they were hammered at the death. Iliyas Bava chipped in with two scalps as well, but Goa’s relentless aggression nullified their breakthroughs.

After early hiccups, where they lost three wickets for just 20 runs, the duo of Asim Shaikh and Mohammad Shahir resurrected the innings. Asim was sensational, blasting 83 off 47 balls with nine fours and four towering sixes, displaying impeccable timing and power. Shahir complemented him beautifully with a stylish 43 off 34 balls. The pair stitched together a partnership that threatened to tilt the match in Mangalore’s favor. However, the dismissals of both in quick succession derailed their chase.
Vinod Kumar K was the standout performer for Goa, delivering a game-changing spell of 2/15 in just two overs, removing key batters Bipin Basavaraj and Suhail Zaki at crucial moments. His sharp, disciplined bowling in the middle overs turned the tide. Supported by Muku and Bipin Basavaraj, who claimed two wickets apiece, the Goa bowlers maintained calm under pressure.
